I photograph environments where access is limited, conditions are hostile, and outcomes cannot be controlled.
Astrophotography, underwater photography, and aerial observation share a common constraint. You do not get to shape the environment. You work within physical limits, uncertainty, and narrow windows of opportunity.
That discipline mirrors exploration itself.
This work is about attention, patience, humility, and respect for constraint.

This work is not separate from my technical practice.
High-fidelity imaging, sensor awareness, and constraint-driven observation are essential to exploration, environmental characterization, and planetary reconnaissance. Photography trains attention under pressure, reinforces data acquisition skills, and develops intuition for working within physical limits rather than attempting to overcome them.
My photography emphasizes presence and restraint. It reflects accumulated discipline and offers viewers access to frontiers they may never experience directly.
I use advanced imaging systems across terrestrial, underwater, and astronomical contexts. My workflows integrate tracking, stacking, and HDR techniques to maximize signal while respecting environmental and physical constraints.
