I photograph environments where access is limited, conditions are hostile, and the observer must work within constraint.
Astrophotography, underwater photography, and aerial imaging share a common discipline. You work within physical limits, uncertainty, and narrow windows of opportunity. That discipline mirrors exploration itself.

This work is not separate from my technical practice.
High-fidelity imaging, sensor awareness, and constraint-driven observation are essential to exploration, environmental characterization, and planetary reconnaissance. Photography trains attention under pressure and reinforces the discipline of working within physical limits rather than attempting to override them.
My photography emphasizes restraint, fidelity, and respect for the environment being observed.
I work across astronomical, underwater, and aerial contexts using imaging systems configured for low-light, long-exposure, and field-constrained observation.
Core systems include Sony and ZWO imaging platforms, Astro-Physics telescopes, selected Sony GM lenses, drone imaging tools, and field support systems configured for astronomical and expeditionary use.
